Volunteering as a group at the Cedar Bend Humane Society is a fun team building experience as well as a way to give back to your community. Group volunteers do activities such as filling bags for PAWS pantry, sorting our donated pop cans and bottles, and other various tasks around the shelter.
Group Volunteer Details:
- Group sizes may be between 2-15 people.
- Group volunteering will be focused on specific tasks needing to be completed and the last ten minutes is a guarantee to meet with some of the adoptable animals.
- Group volunteering is a scheduled session from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm.
- Sessions are typically 1 to 2 hours long. Longer volunteer sessions may be discussed with the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Junior volunteer groups (under the age of 16) must have an adult-to-child ratio of 1 adult per 5 junior volunteers.
- Every volunteer in the group must sign a waiver form, regardless of age.
