NEW: Outreach & Education Center
We’re excited to share that Cedar Bend Humane Society has acquired a new building just down the road from our current facility. This space will become our new Outreach and Education Center, designed to expand our programs and services for the community.
This center is not just an expansion of services—it is a direct extension of our mission to care for homeless animals. Every program offered here helps support the animals at CBHS. Proceeds from the Outreach Center, including the indoor dog park and all outreach activities, go directly back into the care, shelter, and medical needs of the animals we serve.
Plans include educational events, youth programming, low-cost vaccine clinics, dog training classes, community enrichment opportunities, a thrift-style pet resource space, and an indoor dog park for exercise and enrichment.
We plan to begin opening this space in May, with events and program details rolling out soon. Follow our
