Kennel Attendant, Part Time
Let's get real. Working in the kennels department is hard work. You'll spend most of your day scooping poop, washing dishes, and doing laundry. But in-between those tasks are the moments that make the sweaty, dirty job all worth it. Those moments are when a nervous dog wags their tail at you for the first time, when a cat crawls into your arms and just wants to be held, when you get puppy and kitty kisses for giving them yummy food, and so many more.
Like we mentioned, it is hard work! Kennel attendants must be able to lift 50 pounds (boxes of litter are HEAVY!) and be comfortable working with both dogs, cats, and small animals. Duties include, but not limited to: feeding animals, cleaning kennels, cleaning litter boxes, laundry, and keeping indoor and outdoor exercise kennels clean. This job can be fast-paced and physically challenging and will include indoor and outdoor work. Individuals should be self-motivated and dependable.
To apply, please send your resume to CBHS.
