It’s that time of year again! Cedar Bend Humane Society’s 22nd Annual Neuter-a-Tomcat program is fast approaching!
Local clinics participate in the Neuter-a-Tomcat event by providing low-cost neuter services for farm/barn or free-roaming cats to the general public. This year, the neuter fee is $35 (which includes a rabies vaccine for each neuter, generously donated by Boenringer Ingelheim).
Neuter-a-Tomcat takes place throughout February, with dates and times varying for each vet depending on their capacity to donate their time. After February, each clinic donates the neuter fees they collected to Cedar Bend Humane Society to support our Spay and Neuter program that continues to reduce pet overpopulation throughout the year. Last year, 131 cats were altered by local participating clinics and Cedar Bend Humane Society!
