Funding is running low.

Cedar Bend Humane Society made the difficult decision to close due to health official recommendations. Funding from our boarding facility, services, clinics, and adoptions have halted. Donations from the community are dwindling.

We are committed to care for the pets that depend on us. We can't do it without you!

MEDICAL CARE OF

SICK & INJURED ANIMALS

Brandy is just one example of the sick and injured animals that rely on us to save their life. Stray and unwanted cats and dogs need life-saving medicine, and disease-preventing vaccinations and medication,

Please help us afford to treat each animal that comes to us in need.

DAILY CARE OF ANIMALS THAT RELY ON US

The majority of our animals were placed into loving homes prior to closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, many remain and stray animals arrive daily. They require food, medical treatment, toys, exercise, and enrichment.

Please help us care for these animals until we are able to resume adoptions.

KITTEN SEASON IS FAST APPROACHING

ROADS UNKNOWN

Every spring, the shelter sees a sharp increase in unwanted, neglected, and abandoned litters of kittens. These kittens would not survive without us.

Funding is needed for milk replacer, food, litter, vaccinations, flea and tick medication, and medicine for any litters that come to us sick, injured, or malnourished.

The new Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act provides an

above-the-line deduction of $300 for cash donations to a 501c3. Donating at least $300 allows you to deduct that amount "off the top" from your gross income. This CARES Act provision applies even if individuals don't itemize on their taxes.
