The Cedar Bend Humane Society is partnering with a variety of rescue organizations to help place dogs from operations in Oklahoma. The Cedar Bend Humane Society agreed to accept 52 dogs to be placed up for adoption. The dogs will arrive in Waterloo on Saturday, September 2nd. The dogs are a variety of large and small breeds and a handful of puppies. Many will become available for adoption Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The CBHS staff would like to find homes for these pets as soon as possible.
The large influx of animals to Cedar Bend Humane Society will require considerable resources. Many animals will need to be spayed or neutered. Many will require vaccinations. Any financial donations to the shelter will be helpful and can be made online by clicking here.
Many of these dogs have been rescued from animal control facilities that do not offer adoption services. This is their chance at adoption and a second chance at life! Please visit the Cedar Bend Humane Society and give one of these pups a deserving home! The adoption center, located at 1166 West Airline Highway, Waterloo, is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adoption applications may be filled out online by clicking here.
The Cedar Bend Humane Society is a nonprofit 501c3 organization, accredited by the Better Business Bureau and the only full service animal shelter in Black Hawk County
