CiCi

More/Less

MY STORY: Cici was brought to Cedar Bend after not getting along well with the family's cats.

AGE: Cici is about 5 years old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Cici is a sweet girl who loves to be close to people. She can be a bit of an attention hog, and can be a bit jumpy when she tries to be as close to you as possible. Cici likes to be active and would love to be your walking buddy. Cici is not particularly a fan of cats and would chase them if given the opportunity. Cici should also meet other dogs in the home prior to adoption.

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: Cici is looking for a home where she can get plenty of exercise and snuggle time. She has gotten along well with people of all ages and would enjoy the company of kids in her future home. Cici has a very dense coat, and will need some regular brushing and maintenance to keep her coat looking clean and healthy.

Squid

More/Less

MY STORY: Squid was brought to Cedar Bend after being found as a stray in the local Cedar Valley.

AGE: Squid is about 8 months old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Squid is a high energy boy who loves to be outside and exercising! He does not particularly like the company of other animals, and needs to be the only pet in the home. This boy may not be the best candidate to take to the dog park, but he would love to be taken on regular walks around the neighborhood, or romping around in the back yard - preferably a fenced in one! This boy is very food motivated, and knows how to "sit" currently, but with time he would easily learn more!

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: Squid is looking for a home where he can get plenty of exercise and play time. He can be a bit jumpy, and may be a bit overwhelming for some small kids. This being said, he should meet all people in the home before finalizing an adoption. Stop out and visit this boy - and bring the tasty treats!

Adoption fee: $200 - Adoption fee include spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, microchip, and a start on flea/tick prevention.

Poochie

More/Less

MY STORY: Poochie was brought to Cedar Bend after being found as a stray by the local Animal Control.

AGE: Poochie is about 4 years old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Poochie is a very obedient boy who loves to learn. He loves his treats, and enjoys the company of people. He doesn't mind relaxing and lounging around, but he does like to go for walks and exercise, too. Poochie seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, and may enjoy another companion in the home. Poochie can, however, be a bit food possessive, and must be kept away from other animals and people while he eats to avoid any conflict. Poochie can also be a bit possessive with toys and raw hides when other dogs are around, and these items should be kept away to avoid any problems. Ideally, Poochie would love to be the only dog in the home.

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: Poochie would enjoy being in a home where he can continue to learn and develop his listening skills. He wants to please his handler! He has a goofy personality, and doesn't mind being the center of attention. Poochie would do best in a home with older children or adults; his possessive tendencies may be too much for small children.
