TJ

More/Less

MY STORY: TJ came to Cedar Bend after he was having a difficult time adjusting to young children being around. His previous owners note that he is not a fan of children and would likely do better in a quiet home without children.

AGE: TJ is about 6 years old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: TJ is a handsome man who would do best in a home without small children. He often develops a strong bond to specific people and becomes very protective of them and his home. This being said, he is not a fan of strangers or children coming to the home, and should be kept in a crate or different room when visitors come, to prevent any problems. His previous owners also note how smart he is and how he loves to play fetch with a ball launcher!

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: TJ is searching for a home with adults. He would love a home with a fenced in yard which would allow him to play fetch as often as possible! He also needs an adopter that has dog experience that will understand his quirks and protective behaviors.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: TJ loves to go for car rides, go for long walks, and he does great with other animals - especially dogs!

Adoption fee: $190 - Adoption fee include spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, microchip, and started on flea/tick prevention.

Molly Jo

More/Less

MY STORY: Miss Molly Jo came to Cedar Bend through an animal rescue organization based out of Oklahoma.

AGE: Molly Jo is about 2 years old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Molly Jo is a beautiful girl with unique markings. She is a fairly mellow girl who loves treats! She can be a bit timid when she first meets a new face, however, she appears to warm up quickly! She does great with other dogs, and would love to play around in a yard. She was very interested in a feline when Cedar Bend did a temperament test with her, and she wanted to become very close. It is suggested that any potential adopter use caution if they have felines in their home; Molly Jo may chase them if given the opportunity.

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: Molly Jo would be a fantastic companion for nearly any family! She would do great in a home with other dogs, and would likely do well with children. She loves human interaction, and would do anything to get a chin scratch or a snuggle!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Molly Jo was positive for heartworms after she arrived at Cedar Bend. She is currently being treated for heartworms and will make a swift recovery in no time. Molly's treatment will be completed prior to finalizing an adoption. This should have minimal to no future problems for Molly.

AGE: Layla is about 11 months old.

MY STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Layla is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle up to humans. She has a nose for delicious smells, this being said, she may try to get into your trash. This can easily be fixed by having a covered trash can. Layla's previous owners also note that she has done excellent with children, and that she has done great so far with house training; she seems to be a quick learner! Her previous owners also note that she loves going for car rides and she also does great with other dogs.

MY STORY: Nina came to Cedar Bend after her previous family could no longer take care of her.

AGE: Nina is about 6 years old.

My STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES: Nina is one of the most gentle, sweetest dogs around. She is very smart and knows numerous commands! While she is so smart, sometimes her smart mind can get her in trouble (i.e. getting into trash, climbing fences). Nina needs a home that will help keep her smart mind occupied with puzzles and tricks. Nina can easily figure out how to escape from a crate, and it is suggested that she be kept in a small room if necessary. It is also suggested that Nina's adopters take her for walks on a leash, opposed to leaving her unattended in a back yard or fenced in area. Nina has done well with other animals and would likely do well with other animals in the home.

WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I SEARCHING FOR: Nina is looking for a home that will give her lots of things to keep her smart mind occupied.
