The Vision
Imagine a new fully functional pet adoption center with approximately 5,000 square feet to meet the expanding needs of pets and the humans who love them.
Constructing and enhancing the new Cedar Bend Humane Society Adoption Center will serve the increasing and expanding needs for pets and their owners in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area.

The project will work to improve the health and well-being of all animals that have been rescued and adopted. The expanded and improved facilities will provide increased services and programming to assist pet owners and citizens throughout the region. |

"Both of us had dogs for years in our early days with children. We agreed how much we missed a dog and considered securing one.
It was about that time that Kathy McCoy, a strong supporter of the Humane Society, urged us to look at a particular young dog she thought would capture our hearts - which indeed it did. Her beautiful brown eyes and sparky disposition did us in.
Overnight, she became the focus of our home, and we can't imagine our good fortune that the Society had cared for her so much. She's ten now, and we pray for many more years together." |
