A roomy, well-lit reception and entrance area will include a retail store and a library with educational material for those who are adopting animals and purchasing supplies for their newly adopted pet. The retail store will also provide a revenue stream for the center.
Three free-range feline rooms, two for adult cats and one for kittens (four months and younger). Each room will provide space for about 20-25 felines.
New well-lit adoption areas will serve large breed adult dogs, small breed adult dogs, and a separate nursery area designed just for puppies awaiting new homes.
Several meet-and-greet rooms in which the public can interact with adoptive animals on a one-to-one basis.
A full service grooming area will provide services for shelter animals as well as the needs of returning adopters.
Storage space for office records and supplies, food, and animal needs.
