Capital Campaign - Challenge

The building is bursting at the seams with lost, abandoned or mistreated animals, potential pet owners, volunteers and staff members. As the Humane Society has tried to keep pace with the growing need, it has become clear that its facility no longer meets the requirements of today. Years of heavy use have taken a toll on the facility that must respond to the pressing animal issues of the growing region. The current building, built to serve a smaller community, is now having great difficulty responding to our increasing animal population. A capital campaign is underway to secure $900,000 in private funds toward a new adoption center and remodeling of the intake facility.
