Our Services

The Cedar Bend Humane Society serves the community of Black Hawk County and surrounding areas.

We host many entities within our shelter including an Adoption Department with experienced counselors that will work with each family and help every pet find a desirable home.

We also have a Lost and Found Service, a Volunteer Program, and a Pet Cemetery furnishing a final resting place for beloved pets who have passed on.

Black Hawk Animal Control is a vital part of our shelter, this department aids in the rescuing of many abandoned and abused animals. They are also available daily, helping to uphold the animal ordinances of the cities of Waterloo and Cedar Falls.
