We are grateful...

for the opportunity to tell you about the needs of Cedar Bend Humane Society. Located in Waterloo, we are the only animal shelter serving Black Hawk County, and many surrounding communities without shelters use our services as well.

CBHS cares for roughly 10,000 domestic animals each year. Donated supplies are used every day to meet the needs of these homeless animals: from the smallest gerbil to the largest injured mastiff, we work to keep them comfortable, well-fed, looked after and loved.

Donating to the Dogs

Here at the Cedar Bend Humane Society we take in roughly 10,000 animals a year. We are able to care for these animals thanks to the donations and charitable contributions of those in our community. Currently we have roughly 50-70 dog kennels that are in need of dog beds for our furry friends. Since dogs, like humans, come in all shapes and sizes, we are looking for beds in all shapes and sizes. The two beds we are looking at are Kuranda  beds of all sizes, and 21 x 17 x 12” Durabeds. To donate a Kuranda bed to our shelter, go directly to www.kuranda.com/donate.
